Jesse offers a holistic approach to helping students achieve in their academic classes. She not only helps students complete assignments, papers, and projects but teaches effective strategies and foundational skills so they improve their time management, executive functioning, and overall approach to academics. Because she has taught seventh through twelfth grade English and history, she understands the milestones students need to reach to be prepared for the most challenging high-school classes and for success in college. Jesse is also a freelance writer; she understands the challenges of facing the blank page, conducting research, and meeting deadlines, just like her students. She leverages these experiences to develop trust with her students, so they can overcome their doubts and find the confidence to reach their fullest potential. Although she does not tutor in the math and sciences, she has phenomenal partners that she can connect you with.
